My hope is to glorify God by putting my entire trust in Him and that all of my actions would be an overflow of His grace and fullness in me. I believe that God has equipped me with the ability to lead others toward enjoying Him and developing their individual gifts for His purposes and the edification of the church. The inspired and inerrant Word of God coupled with the gift of the Holy Spirit guides these gifts and passions. This results in a dream to see the Bride of Christ glorify God through excellence driven disciples seeking to fulfill His commission.

Summer 2006 to Present

I currently work and serve as a Resident Pastor at Fellowship Memphis. This is an intense season of development and experiences designed to prepare and launch the participants into high-level leadership roles. Residents get to experience major roles in several areas of our church and get to feel the weight and heat of leadership. Along with growth, service and leadership development…there is a large focus on self-awareness.

My day-to-day is spent working with the operations of Fellowship. That includes facilitating our communications, executing our Sunday services, managing our facilities, developing and executing Fellowship events, and much of our administrative needs.

Fall 2004 to Summer 2006

I served as a layman at Fellowship Memphis. I was on the programming team for the church, giving leadership to our weekly service on Sundays and planning and directing special events for the church. I was also an advisor for Greek Fellowship, a ministry at Rhodes College. I discipled and gave counsel to a leadership team of students who over saw a 120 person ministry at a university of 1500 students. I did some speaking for other college ministries in the southeast when my schedule allowed.

Summer 2002 to Summer 2003

I was a layman working at the University of North Texas serving in our Residence Life ministry. I mentored and taught several young men in our college ministry in a one-on-one scenario throughout the year, while acting as a liaison for the other leaders in the college ministry by mentoring, fielding questions for, brainstorming with, and serving the new leaders developing in College Life.

Summer 2001 to Summer 2002

I was on staff as an intern with College Life, the college ministry of Denton Bible Church, as the assistant program director. This was a full time job that included an array of duties. I was given tasks such as directing worship services, managing our office, building and maintaining a staff to run our coffee shop, and updating our website. My programming duties included planning retreats, baptism services, special meetings, celebrations, intramural leagues, and creating the ambiance and environment for each with the art of hospitality.

Summer 2000 to Summer 2001

I served with College Life while in Pastor Tom Nelson’s Bible program at Denton Bible Church. I led small groups, worked with community groups, put on concerts, discipled men, and assisted our program director with the weekly meetings.

Fall 1999 to Spring 2000

I co-led a college ministry called The Cross, a ministry that is fully run by college students. I was the program director and also served as editor and contributing writer for our weekly devotional Breaking Bread. I was a part of a community group with Campus Crusade and taught a weekly bible study in my fraternity.
